In this 2-hour workshop, discover the art of creating liquid soap using the cold process method. Here, you'll learn how to make your own sensitive skin-friendly liquid soap that can be used for your home and body.

Crafting your very own liquid soap isn't just an environmentally conscious choice; it is also beneficial for your skin. The cold process method preserves glycerin from natural soap ingredients, which makes the formulation extra hydrating for dry and sensitive skin. At Sugar & Spice, we believe that it is important that we share about each ingredient and the formulation for soap pastes.

Rest assured that all the necessary ingredients and soap making equipment will be provided, and you will be safely guided through the handling of lye.

What you will get

1 litre of all-purpose liquid soap paste
3 liquid soap recipes: a gentle all-purpose liquid soap; moisturising body liquid soap; and laundry liquid soap
Class slides with information about soap making ingredients, necessary equipment needed, as well as preparation and clean-up steps
An e-certificate of participation (sent only upon request after workshop is completed)

Please note:

Bring a reusable plastic food container to take your soap paste home. While you will be able to take home your soap paste immediately after the workshop, please note that it will require a minimum of 2 weeks of curing before it's ready for use.

Suitable for

This workshop is beginner-friendly and does not require any prior soap-making experience. For safety precautions, participation is limited to individuals aged 12 and above as lye is used in this class.

Operating Hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Please note that we are closed on Mondays and Wednesday.
