Soap Clay Workshop - Oct and Nov
Have you always wanted to try making soap clay to bring your soap making to the next level? Here is your chance! In line with the Sugar and Spice Soap Challenge this year, we are organizing 2 special soap clay workshops in October and November.
What is soap clay?
Soap clay is exactly what it sounds like. Think clay, but soap! With soap clay, you can shape them using your hands or molds, to come up with endless possibilities. For example, at Sugar and Spice, our Melt-and-Pour workshops involve the use of soap clay, where participants use them, alongside molds, to create embeds to create whatever their heart desires. It can also be incorporated into your cold process soap design, allowing you to create more complex scenes or 3D elements on the surface of your soap.
Making soap clay follows a process that is similar to the cold process soap making process, but it is not quite the same. In this workshop, you will get to learn about how soap clay is made and how to design your own soap clay recipe. You will also learn how to use soap clay to create different embed designs for your soap, and how to plan and execute your soap design.
You will also bring home 1kg of your own soap clay made by yourself in class!
There are two slots for the workshop (Choose just one).

*Note that this workshop requires you to have prior experience with CP Soap Making. If you are not a DIY member at Sugar and Spice, you will need to share a certificate that confirms that you have experience making CP soap.
