Here, you will learn how to prepare, mix, and incorporate different soap colourants with beginner-friendly soap designs. Choose from over 30 ingredients across natural herb powders, synthetic mica, and natural oxides. Rest assured that all the necessary ingredients and soap making equipment will be provided, and you will be safely guided through the handling of lye. This workshop is a great way to explore incorporating additional ingredients to elevate and customise the properties and designs of your soaps. In this 2-hour workshop, you will exercise the fundamental knowledge of working with different base oils and natural colouring additives to learn intermediate colour and swirling techniques. Discover community events Hear from our community I initially signed up for the Soap Basics: Cold Process Bar Soap Making class simply seeking some knowledge about soap making. Little did I know that this experience would ignite a passion for crafting natural soaps and lead me all the way to the advanced and design classes! 🤣 What truly set this class apart was the hands-on approach. We got to mix the ingredients, choose our own scents and spice blends, and design the soap’s appearance. The instructors Yean and Jin are very patient, the environment was warm and equipped with almost everything we need for soap making. I must say this place had me totally hooked! 😁 — Joanne Chia
